Welcome to the newest issue of Likhaan Online!

We would like to apologize to those who regularly visit our bi-monthly online magazine for our absence in the past few months.  We are now back  with a new host (DILNET) and some changes in our staff. Our promise of providing you updated news on the Philippine literary scene, great features, and original literary material continues, and we hope you enjoy what's in store for you in this site.

For those who are visiting  this site for the first time, happy surfing! We've got great stuff in store for you this week. In our literary section, we have 2 poems from Marjorie Evasco's latest  poetry collection "Ochre Tones: Poems in English and Filipino", released last May, a short story by Carla M. Pacis, and Luisa Igloria's own version of the popular sci-fi movie "Star Wars Episode 1".

For those who now have literary activities to announce, we have a regular Message Board where you can have your announcements posted. This can be especially helpful to those who wish to inform or invite a wider range of writers, artists, and literary enthusiasts to their activities.  We have also opened a contribution box, a new section for those of you who wish to send us your original works for publication in this magazine.
